Currently Gaming
Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom (PC) (DOS)
By Origin Systems

Okay - I'm not really playing Wing Commander IV anymore because it won't work on a modern computer (Windows 2000 and above cannot run it).

BUT  you are listening to that music!

Wing COmmander IV is perhaps the greatest game EVER!  What other video game was filmed on real 35mm film and had Mark Hamill and Tom WIlson (Biff) Malcolm McDowell, AND John-Rhys-Davies in it??

The hardest part is convincing art students (who are MUCH MUCH too obsessed with Japanese animation) that Wing Commander blows away FInal Fantasy!!  The REALLY sad part is that hardly ANYONE has played this series that I know!  A lot of that has to do with the fact that the original fan base of this game is MUCH MUCH older than us (as Wing COmmander I was released in 1991 on PC and MAC.

I guess there's no point to this post - simply to inform you of Wing Commander IV!  If you have a PLaystation you can play this AND Wing Commander III, but the playstation versions are HORRIBLE when compared to the PC - the only advantage is a vastly improved movie quality - but this comes at the expense of in-game graphics - which look ancient compared to the high res SVGA graphics that were in the PC/MAC version.

You're listening to the credits.

Currently I own EVERY Wing Commander Game - (Except Privateer 2 - which is a spin off and barely follows the storyline anyway)

They are as follows:

Wing Commander
Wing Commander II: Vengeance of the Kilrathi
Wing Commander: Academy
Wing Commander: Privateer
Wing Commander: Armada
Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger
Wing Commander: Kilrathi Saga
Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom
Wing Commander: Prophecy
Wing Commander: Secret Ops

Wing Commander expansions were cancelled in 1998 when Electronic Arts (EA) began to close down a lot of the companies that they bought out (Origin Systems which made Wing Commander was no exception).

Looks like I'm still subscribed to this thing.  Might as well post something - SInce I'm at work and bored as heck!

I am currently working (between school) at the Polk County School Board - School Technology Services Division.  I am the web designer.  I designed the entire STS Website the STS logo, the MOdel Technology Teachers logo, and all related flash junk that's on the site.  It could have been a LOT better - but the School Board has the horrendous requirement that the page be viewed in a frame.  You can see the frameless page at http://www.polk-fl.net/schooltech keep in mind that ITV and Technology grants still refuse to let me work on their sites - although tech grants let me put my banner up there once.  You can see the difference when the website moves from good (STS) to bad (Tech grants) to worse (ITV) in terms of design >_<.

How about this http://wolfpackalliance.com/aharrisp4a.htm my final project in Advanced Survery of COmputer Arts - (which was to make a flash portfolio of something you've done)  SO guess what I chose!  that DVD i made back in 2003 - it's still earning me points to this day.  HOw sweet.

I guess its been almost two years since ive written on this site.  Two long years.  Art kids are mean - there is no getting around it.  Almost every single one of them!  I have 4.0 GPA - the best they will give you - and thats about it.  I am now living at an apartment in Savannah - at least during the school year.  Right now I am in FL until JAN 1 - and will return to FL on JUN 3 or 6  forget.

Yesterday, December 7th, 2005, A date which will live in infamy.  Not really - but yesterday was Dec. 7.  I am reminded of DEC 7 2001 when I posted "Allied Forces" on the campaign section of the FS2 archives.  (now the site no longer exists).

I have a keyboard.  I can play Aeris' Theme - and the first part of the FInal Fantasy 7 theme (for piano).  I dressed as CId Highwind for Halloween - possibly my most horrible-est nerdiest moment ever - a memory which i will spend years trying to repress!

LOOK AT ME ! OMG!!!!!111111ONE

Well that's it for now.  I wonder how many MORE years it will be before i post again.  I'll try to keep it under a decade this time.  but no guarantees!  ^_^

It's been TOO long!

Hello everyone!  Man, I was gone for so long this time that even I thought I had disappeared!  So, I'll try to give you all an extra long, extra interesting update this time!

Well first of all, when the hurricane came through was without power for five days.  Now that may not seem like a long time, but trust me IT IS!  Oh my gosh, it is such a long time!  By the fifth day I was about to go crazy.  Fortunately I went to my friend Simpson's house where we played Final Fantasy X.  (My absolute favorite besides online.)

Anyway, when i finally DID get power back what do you think the first thing I did was?  Well, already high on Final Fantasy I brought out my dusty old PS2 and hooked it in again, and proceeded to restart my FFX game.  If any of you have ever played it, I am now just at the Mi'Hen Highway after the blitzball game.  It is my sworn goal now to beat that sorry game before I have to leave for college.  The date is looming ever closer. (September 9 is when I will actually be leaving.)  Nervous?  YES!  Because there is no way to bring ALL of my games up there with me into the small room!  So what if i'm like up there, and want to play one of the games i didn't bring!  That would suck!

Still hanging out in YJP Shanna?  How's Strongsad, I mean Sam.  And that other kid....   Eric Thomas?

What else have i been doing..  Hmmm...   Oh yes, perhaps the biggest moment in August 2004 which will define the month in the future, (for me at least), is that I FINALLY finished my Allied Forces™ Revelation Story.  In the end it was 81 pages and 37,667 words!  Very long indeed.  It will hopefully be translated into a movie one day.  Re-writing it in a movie script format would result in a document well over 120 pages!  It's definitely the longest thing I've ever actually sat down and typed.

That's it's logo.

Let's see, what else.  Basically in August that's about it.  The month is almost over.  I will definitely try to update this thing more often, if only I can pull myself away from that stupid game!  Which reminds me.  Fans of Final Fantasy X will appreciate my Counter-Strike spray logo.  (In the shooting game Counter-Strike, you can press "T" and spraypaint a texture onto the wall.)  It looks like this.

And yes, my name in Counterstrike IS [TastyTreats]Muffin.  I play at the [SmD] Anarchy Server most of the time, whose IP is:
66.208.103.2:27015

That reminds me of another interesting story.  WHY would i choose muffin as my name?  Well it all started about a year ago when i was [A]Fox.  Me, Simpson, and Pridgen were up extremely late and decided to play around on CS.  We made up these stupid names, each of a different Tasty Treat. I chose muffin because earlier that week, i had been in a server whose clan tag was #muffin.  I thought that was funny so I made that my joke name.

And i guess it all went too far, because now I play as the joke name all the time.

Ok, I also just thought of this, If you're one of those people who have never played FFX, my spray will need a little explaining.  In the story this friend to hair gel named "Wakka" loses his brother some years before.  He believes it was because he didn't pray on his way out and used some forbidden weapon.  ANYWAY, the point is, if youve just died in counterstrike, (which always makes you mad) seeing this spray over your dead body will make it all that much more annoying.  He has an interesting accent, sorta hispanic-esque at times.  Kinda sounds Hawaiian, if i had to guess.  I really don't know.  It's definitely interesting.  So that's why it's spelled "Brudda" and not "Brother."

Well i hope this extra-long post, complete with pictures, makes up somewhat for my extra-long absence!

I'll cya later.  I'm gonna go play a game...  again.   ^_^
